Inspired by the Seal Beach landscape and impressionist paintings. Part of my ongoing ocean series.
Something that I want to continue to explore is a more fantastical landscapes. Ocean Starry Night has slightly surrealist elements, such as firefly-like stars. The ocean looks as if it’s glowing from the inside, like bioluminescent allege. I hope to continue to push these ideas in future paintings.
