Cherry Blossom is the last painting in my set of Emotions. Whatever Happens, Poison Envy, and Ojalá are the others. Each containing blocks of color, flowers, and a short poem.

Cherry Blossom is probably one of the few paintings I have about romantic love. The quote in itself is a bit bleak, but so are my opinions about romantic love. But I think it illustrates the spark — the beautiful initial attraction that happens so fast and strongly, and then ends. However, cherry blossoms are cyclical, and it always blooms again.
